BIG AND BOLD.
That’s what outdoor does best. Outdoor advertising has to be loud to get its message across in its visual environment. It typically only has a few seconds to communicate to the viewer. Because outdoor pieces are seen from near and far, they require a high degree of technical skill. They must not only make the viewer want to look twice, but reward them with information when they do — yet still convey their message no matter how close or far away the viewer may be.
SUBTLETY AND VERSATILITY.
Whether it’s a direct mail piece, flyer, letterhead, business card or website—these require an acute attention to detail. As with all design problems, the solution must fit both the client’s needs and budget. However, it also requires the designer to have a sensitivity to the visual layout of the piece, the environment it will ultimately be viewed in, and even tactile feel of the finished piece.
